North Florida Fair Guest Code of Conduct
The North Florida Fair Association is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, family-friendly environment where all guests, exhibitors, employees, vendors, volunteers, and partners can enjoy the Fair. We strive to promote responsible behavior and make the guest experience friendly, positive, and enjoyable for everyone.
By purchasing, accepting, or using a ticket, and by entering the North Florida Fairgrounds, guests agree to follow all posted rules, safety policies, and the North Florida Fair Guest Code of Conduct. All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible, respectful, and appropriate manner.
Prohibited Conduct
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Disorderly, disruptive, threatening, abusive, obscene, unsafe, illegal, or offensive behavior
- Fighting, aggressive behavior, or threats toward others
- Running, except when necessary during an emergency
- Throwing objects or engaging in behavior that could endanger others
- Blocking or obstructing walkways, entrances, exits, exhibits, concessions, emergency routes, gates, or access points
- Failing to follow reasonable instructions from North Florida Fair staff, security personnel, law enforcement, or emergency/public safety personnel
- Possession or use of prohibited items
- Face coverings or masks that conceal or substantially obscure the face are not permitted, except when authorized by Fair management or required for legitimate health, safety, religious, or occupational purposes.
- Unauthorized solicitation, vending, demonstrations, or distribution of materials
- Unauthorized ticket resale or commercial activity
- Any activity that interferes with the safety, rights, comfort, or enjoyment of other guests
- Standing, sitting, gathering, or congregating in a manner that obstructs pedestrian traffic or creates an unsafe condition
Guests may be asked to relocate or continue moving when their presence or activity creates an obstruction, interferes with normal traffic flow, or compromises the safety or enjoyment of others. This applies regardless of the purpose of the gathering or activity.
Enforcement
Tickets and admission privileges are subject to revocation. The North Florida Fair Association reserves the right to refuse admission, remove any person from the Fairgrounds, revoke tickets or admission privileges, deny future admission without refund, issue trespass notices, contact law enforcement, or pursue other appropriate remedies when a guest violates these rules or engages in conduct that is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the family-friendly environment of the North Florida Fair.
Our staff and security personnel are responsible for helping maintain a safe and enjoyable environment. Guests are expected to cooperate with reasonable requests and directions intended to protect the safety and well-being of everyone on the Fairgrounds.
Safety First
The safety and well-being of our guests, participants, employees, and volunteers are among our highest priorities. The North Florida Fair Association reserves the right to review and update this Guest Code of Conduct and related policies as circumstances and operational needs require.
Any significant policy updates may be communicated through the North Florida Fair Association’s official communication channels, including our website, social media platforms, and other official Fair communications.
The North Florida Fair Association reserves the right to modify these guidelines as necessary to address operational, safety, security, or event-related circumstances.
