• Must be a graduating high school senior from a county that places an agricultural exhibit in the North Florida Fair
• Must demonstrate a sincere interest in agriculture through 4-H, FFA, or related activities
• Must meet academic requirements and maintain continuous enrollment
• Must be nominated by a County Extension faculty member or Vocational Agriculture instructor.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2026 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER!

Ms. Amber Lyn Chambers has recently been chosen as the 2026 Lloyd Rhoden Agricultural Scholarship recipient given by the North Florida Fair Association. Amber is the daughter of Anthony Steve and Allison Chambers and Bonnie Connell. She has shown goats and poultry at the North Florida Fair for several years.

A graduating senior of Altha Public School in Calhoun County, Amber grew up in the center of the livestock industry, learning that animals “are not just part of a business, they are a responsibility, a science, and a way of life.” Among the daily routine of raising livestock, Amber saw how selective breeding and genetic research can improve animal health – better breeding, productivity and sustainability for future generations. This led her to her passion for genetics in animals. She would like to pursue a career as a Livestock Geneticist and began attending Chipola College in the Fall of 2026.
