RULES & REGULATIONS
BAKED GOODS EXHIBITORS MUST ABIDE BY THE GENERAL RULES
- No ready mixes will be accepted, except in decorated classes.
- An exhibitor may make only one entry per class.
- Exhibit half of cut cake or pie, leaving cut surface exposed, and ALL BAKED GOODS MUST BE IN PLASTIC WRAP.
- Cakes should be whole loaf or one-half layers. Cookies should be 6 each entry.

Rules:
- Exhibitor must bring the opened bag of King Arthur Flour or submit a UPC label from the flour bag when he/she submits the entry
- Entry must follow the designated recipe.
- For the Youth entry the recipe for "The Essential Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie" must be used exactly as it appears in the premium book (click on link)
- For the Adult entry the recipe for "Bakery Date Squares" must be used exactly as it appears in the premium book (click on link)
- An entry form must accompany the entry.
- All entries must be submitted on a disposable container for judging (12 Bars)
- Judging will be based on the following criteria:
- Flavor:..........................50 Points
- Overall Appearance:.....25 Points
- Texture:........................25 Points
TOTAL:........................100 Points
- Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification.
