4-H SHARE THE FUN CONTEST

DEPARTMENT 230

CHAIRPERSON : Vickie Mullins, Santa Rosa County
CO-CHAIR: Julie Dillard, Washington County
ENTRY DEADLINE : Act MUST pre-register with Chairperson by October 1st
SHOWTIME : Saturday, November 13, 2010 12:00 Noon - 1:30 p.m.
AWARDS PROGRAM : Saturday, November 13, 2010 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
RULES & REGULATIONS
  1. Show entries open to 4-H members only.
  2. Three Acts (individual or group) may enter per county as selected by that county's Extension representative.
  3. Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Divisions will be judged separately.
  4. Group act is limited to five (5) participants.
  5. Act must fall between 3-5 minutes. Five points deducted if under or over time limit.
  6. Piano will be unavailable. Participants may bring an electric keyboard from home if the Chairperson is notified at pre-registration.
  7. Contestants must report to Chairperson at the entertainment stage (next to building #6) at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010, for sound check & check-in. (MANDATORY)
  8. Agents please inform Chairperson if a pre-registered contestant will not be performing.
  9. CD and a written copy of song lyrics must be turned in with registration by October 1st and the song choice cannot be changed after registration.
  10. Wardrobe must be checked and approved by agents and/or show chair prior to the show.
  11. Failure for not following the rules is disqualification.
DIVISION A - JUNIOR DIVISION
Any 4-H'er who reaches his/her 8th birthday by September 1st of the current 4-H year and has not passed his/her 10th birthday by September 1st of the current 4-H year.


DIVISION B- INTERMEDIATE DIVISION
Any 4-H'er who reaches his/her 11th birthday by September 1st of the current 4-H year and has not passed his/her 13th birthday by September 1st of the current 4-H year.

DIVISION C - SENIOR DIVISION
Any 4-H'er who reaches his/her 13th birthday prior to September 1st of the current 4-H year and has not passed his/her 19th birthday or graduated from high school prior to September 1st of the current 4-H year.
