ENTRY FEE: $8.00 per animal entry for Open Show.
ARRIVAL TIME: Friday, November 6, 2009, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. ONLY!
SHOWTIME: Sunday, November 8, 2009, 4:00 p.m.
RELEASE TIME: Immediately after the Open Show or at the discretion of Chairperson

RULES & REGULATIONS EXHIBITORS MUST ABIDE BY ALL GENERAL RULES AND HEALTH REGULATIONS.
All cattle must have certificates of veterinary inspection. Cattle that originate in the State of Florida no longer need to be tested for tuberculosis or brucellosis. Cattle originating from out of state must have been tested for tuberculosis and brucellosis within sixty days of the opening day of the fair.
1. There will not be any changes made before or during the show under any circumstances.
2. GROUP CLASSES: Entry form should indicate which group classes the exhibitor intends to show in, but not the individual animals to show in the groups. Entry fees for Open show must accompany entries. Make checks payable to North Florida Fair Association and mail to 441 Paul Russell Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32301-6996
3. All animals must be dehorned to enter the North Florida Fair Open Dairy Show. Animals with horns will be disqualified.
4. Animals of similar ages, regardless if registered, or grade, will be shown in the same class. No exhibitor will be paid premiums on more than two (2) entries per class.
5. Hay and feed will be available for purchase.
6. All personal items, trash and other debris must be cleaned from the barn prior to checkout. Do not empty water buckets in pens. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of premium monies.
7. NEW! Area in front of pens must be kept swept and clean.

CLASS 2: Intermediate Calves - Born 12/1/08 - 2/28/09
CLASS 3: Senior Calves - Born 9/1/08 - 11/30/08
CLASS 4: Junior Yearlings - Born 3/1/08 - 8/31/08
CLASS 5: Senior Yearlings* - Born 9/1/07 - 2/28/08
CLASS 6: Cows, two-year old - Born 9/1/06 - 8/31/07
CLASS 7: Cows, three-year - Born before 9/1/06
CLASS 8: Cows, four-year old – Born 9/1/04 – 8/31/05
CLASS 9: Cows, five-year old – Born 9/1/03 – 8/31/04
CLASS 10: Dam-Daughter – 2 animals, dam and daughter, any age, both animals need not be owned by exhibitor
CLASS 11: Produce-of-Dam – two animals any age, the produce of one cow, dam must be named on entry, both animals need not be owned by exhibitor
CLASS 12: Get-of –Sire – four daughters from same sire, sire must be named on entry, need not be owned by exhibitor
CLASS 13: Breeder Herd, five females, all owned by the exhibitor, consist of two females over two years of age, two females un-calved under two years of age and one of any age, Three must be bred by the exhibitor.
